Call to Order: A meeting of the Weeki Wachee High School’s School Advisory Council was held in the room 500 on 4/3/17. SAC Chair, Sarah Johnston called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m. Mrs. Adesso will record minutes for this meeting.

Minutes: A motion to approve the minutes of 3/6/17 with no changes by A. Johnston and seconded by T. Moyer. Motion approved.

Agenda: 1. Review of Minutes from March 6th SAC meeting.

2. Data Review – Presented by L. Adesso, PBIS Coach (handout provided). Data for student behavior and tardies were shared with the group. One question of the meaning of the acronym SESIR and an answer will be provided at the next meeting.

3. Voting Items - PERT Unit for Math – Requested by D. Gigantelli. L. Adesso presented the request in D. Gigantelli’s absence. A motion to approve funding up to $1,800.00 but should not exceed the number of units required for the students scheduled in DE or Algebra 1 cohort. Motioned by E. Marion and seconded by J. Bronhard.

5. Open Business

a. Question: When is the library open for students? Response: Mrs. Chapin – The library is open all school days unless there is testing. b. Question: What is the status of the reduced schedule for seniors next year as it applies to CTE, AP, and DE credit? Response: Mrs. Chapin – The district policy has not changed. c. Update on Deputy Miles Fundraiser – NOW Promotions donated t-shirts and we have received over $1,000.00 in donations.

Next Meeting Date & Time: The next meeting will be held on Monday, May 1st at 6:00 p.m. in room 500.

Meeting Adjournment: Motion: D. Emanuel motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:55 pm seconded by C. Boorman. Motion carried unanimously.
