WITI ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF WITI CHICAGO EXCELLENCE IN CORPORATE IT LEADERSHIP AWARDS

CHICAGO, IL – (MARKET WIRE) – 04/09/2008 – WITI (Women in Technology International), the nation's leading professional trade association for tech-savvy women, today announced it will host its "Excellence in Corporate IT Leadership" awards honoring executive women leaders for significant contributions to their respective corporations and technology industries on May 1, 2008 in Chicago.

Hosted by UBS, premier event sponsor, and with support from IBM, Exelon and Motorola, the event will feature two executive panels of dynamic industry leaders followed by a ceremony honoring this year's award recipients. The Executive panel will discuss how they led their organization's transformation and delivered results by adapting their leadership styles.

WITI's Excellence in Corporate IT Leadership honorees include:

-- Karenann Terrell, CIO of Baxter -- Jennifer Scanlon, CIO of USG -- Jean Holley, CIO of Tellabs

And Connie Shoemake, Vice President, Sales Americas Central Region, IBM, is being recognized for her support of women in the IT Community.
