SUBJECT: Recommendation for Attendance at the Officer Candidate School (OCS) Program

1. The undersigned recommends Specialist John M. Smith, SSN xxx-xx-xxxx, HHD 205th Corps Support, for attendance at the 2008 Officer Candidate Course.

a. Recommendations. At a minimum, the individual’s current company must provide letters recommending the individual for OCS. The letters should contain objective details outlining the traits, actions, skills, experiences, characteristics, training, and education that indicate the individual is qualified to enroll in the OCS Program

b. OCS enlistment soldiers, (AOC: 09S) do not need Letter of Recommendation.
