Regular Meeting

Present: Mayor William Shain; Councilman Michael Ragsdale; Councilman Alan Curtis; Councilman Thomas Mohren; Kim Patterson, Treasurer; Carleen Graves, Clerk; Alex Davison, Attorney. Also present was Zach Spadt from the Pine Bluffs Post. Mayor Shain called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

AGENDA APPROVAL Councilman Curtis made a motion to accept the Agenda with a second from Councilman Ragsdale and the motion passed unanimously with 4 ayes.

APPROVAL OF CONSENT ADGENDA With no discussion Councilman Ragsdale made a motion to approve all items in consent agenda items 1 through 3. A second was heard from Councilman Mohren and the motion passed unanimously with 4 ayes.

D EPARTMENT REPORTS Kim Patterson reported that the site visit for the Mowing contracts will be tomorrow at 9:00 am. The bid opening was held on the North Wells and selection will be made just waiting on Wade Verplanke and Bill Brewer. We attended the site visit for the Rest Area also. Carleen reminded the Council that the water will be shut off on Friday the 22 nd for the Water Tower project. Training for the Command Center will be next week in Atlanta, and the Lions Club will be holding a fund raiser May 29th and will be using the City Park from 6:00 a.m. until around 2:00 p.m. Councilman Curtis attended the 6 th Penny meeting in Cheyenne and it is well supported. The next meeting is September 15 and project will need to be in by then. It looks to be around a 100 Million collection and our share will be around 5 million. Councilman Curtis also had interest bidding the Rest Area Contract. After discussion Councilman Curtis made a motion to put together a bid package for the Rest Area with a second from Councilman Ragsdale. Motion passed with 4 ayes.

MEETINGS AND ANNOUCEMENTS Next Town Council Meeting will be May 2, 2016 at 7:30 pm.

ADJOURNMENT Councilman Ragsdale moved to adjourn with a second from Councilman Mohren. Motion passed unanimously with 4 ayes. Meeting was adjourned.
