POST 2. Kamchatka peninsula Itinerary

Date/time Itinerary 8 July Meet with tour organizer short excursion in the town and transfer to the “Snow Valey” resort

9 -10 July Trip to Mutnovsky-Gorely area, south of Petropavlovsk (3-4 hours drive one-way, 5-6 Hours hike). Helicopter excursion to Geyser valley and Uzon (depends on weather condition and price of helicopter). The snow accumulation is huge here, so, only isolated patches of permafrost are spread around. Night at "Snow Valley" resort.

11 July Transfer to Kozyrevsk (8-9 hours drive to the north with lunch at Milkovo). Night at local camping.

12 – 13 July Transfer to Tolbachik area (3-4 hours drive), local trips to explore permafrost and volcanic features, camping in the tents

14 – 15 July Transfer to Esso, local trips to permafrost and volcanic features, ethnography museum and hot springs at the evening. Night at "Paramushir" hotel.

16 Jury Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Night at "Antarius" hotel.

17 July Tour end
