Course Marshall

Why we need you The Fundraising Department at National Star have a programme of exciting events during 2014 and we are looking for volunteers to help with marshalling along the course. Our first event is on Sunday 27th April and it’s a 100km Cycle Ride.

What skills do I need? We are looking for people with great communication skills who are able to use their initiative to deal with any incidents that may occur on the course.

How much time do I need to commit? We need Marshalls for various events throughout the year, but our first event is a Cycle Ride on Sunday April 27th and we will need volunteers from 7am-5pm

What support will I be given? The experienced Events Team will be on hand to support on the day and you will be asked to attend a training briefing for a couple of hours before the event.

What benefits can I expect?  Meeting new people  The satisfaction of helping at an event from start to finish  The opportunity to develop skills in areas such as fundraising and event management

Where will I be based? Our events are held in the Gloucestershire area
