PROFILE

Adept Contractors Pty Ltd is a family business operated by husband and wife team Peter & Helen Allardyce.

Peter has been in the construction business over 50 years, completing all his trade certificates to become a registered builder. A few years in house building he wanted something more challenging, venturing into civil works which included bridge building, concrete silos, sewerage treatment plants, culverts, etc. This took the family to various locations throughout Australia.

Finally locating to Mackay work began in the mining industry. Adept Contractors evolved and has been locally based in Moranbah for the past 17 years, providing concrete works, maintenance, earthworks, demolition, steel fabrication, machinery hire and transport services to the coal mining sector, local council and private contractors.

With growth came the relocation to our new premises at Long Pocket Rd, Moranbah from which all our projects are run. This is incorporated with a well-equipped camp to accommodate our employees and their families. Adept are focused on continually improving our business and our people. We remain committed to delivering high quality, incident free services, and an advanced level of workplace safety and maintain positive relations with our clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
