- Design, build, maintain, customise and support Linux and Unix Systems on a variety of hardware platforms. (IBM-Compatible PCs, Sun PCs, Compaq Alpha or HP machines). - Design, build and support Local, Wide Area and Internet Networking, including VPN and Voice over IP. - Design, build, install and support full-featured Linux Connectivity Servers and File Servers. - Design, build, install and support Linux/Unix Applications including Internet Applications.
10/1999 - NOW WEB PROGRAMMER of Swift Innovations, Australia
The goal is developing of internet based trading system.
- Designed and coded all of neccessary subsystems.
Currently project in beta stage. 1/1999 - NOW SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR of KonectaNet Pty Ltd, Australia
- Programming, Configuration and Management of Cisco router. - Programming, Configuration and Management of Linux based servers. - Configuration and Management of common services. - Programming, Configuration, Management of billing and subscription system.
3/1999 - 10/1999 CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER of ISP "IRKUTSKAYA RASCHETNAYA PALATA", Russia
The goal was to achieve steady growth of ISP. I was elected by a meeting of shareholders.
- Managed technical and financial division. - Developed automated billing and subscription system. - Managed affiliation with TUCOWS.com, Global-One. - Managed creation of city radio network based on Aironet devices.
In time of leaving "IRKUTSKAYA RASCHETNAYA PALATA" the company was in uptrend.
Reason of self-resignation: shareholders refused my plan of system upgrade which could dramatically reduce dividents for following year but then give about 200% of previous level annually. Common shareholder was concurrent ISP. I didn't saw possibility for future growth of company.
9/1998 - 3/1999 LEAD SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR of ISP "IRKUTSKAYA RASCHETNAYA PALATA", Russia
The goal was to manage existing ISP infrastructure and two system administrators.
- Managed ISP infrastructure development. - Managed Cisco routers, 3COM Total control modem pools. - Managed local telephone network. - Supervised all major systems.
2/1998 - 9/1998 SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR of ISP "IRKUTSKAYA RASCHETNAYA PALATA", Russia
The goal was to manage part of existing ISP infrastructure.
- Managed TACACS+ system - Managed FTP, Web, ILS, NS, Mail services. 7/1995 - 8/1998 LEAD ENGINEER of Siberian Solar Radio Telescope Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics, Irkutsk, Russia (ssrt.iszf.irk.ru)
The goal was to manage engineers to build up computer infrastructure of Siberian Solar Radio Telescope and redesign whole control system to wide spread computer network.
- Designed modules for antenna array navigation. - Managed creation of whole system synchronization. - Developed software for data processing from DAS and solar radio map rendering.
In time of leaving SSRT the common tasks was resolved. Control system wasn't redesigned due low budget of Russian science.
7/1991 - 7/1995 SOFTWARE ARCHITECT of Siberian Solar Radio Telescope Data Acquisution System Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics, Irkutsk, Russia (ssrt.iszf.irk.ru)
The goal is to design and develop the Data Aquisition System for Siberian Solar Radio Telescope. System must collect, process and archive 450 analog lines with rate 7.5 ms.
- Designed visualisation system, archiving system and fast preprocessing system. - Programmed parts of CAMAC crate. - Adopted system from Bern University (Switzerland) as second aquisition system (Fast DAS) to previously written Forth compiler/interpreter.
The software architecture achieved project goals.
9/1989 - 2/1993 CORE PROGRAMMER of Forth programming language Siberian Energetic Institute, School N19 of Irkutsk, Russia
The goal was to create a Forth programming language compiler/interpretator. Third party versions of FORTH were unavailable for us. We obtained documentation on Forth standard from our friends and made standard-compliant compiler/interpretator with IDE.
- Designed software architecture and core. - Developed portability libraries for PDP-11 and 8086.
Project was successfully completed on time and awarded the Young Programmers Conference award in April of 1992. Later the system was used on Siberian Solar Radio Telescope. 4. MARTIAL STATUS
