The Prayer Room’s Staff Commitment

As staff members and servant leaders at The Prayer Room, the following commitments are to be maintained while holding a position on staff here at The Prayer Room.

1. Staff members must sign up for, maintain and serve on 2 Sacred Trust prayer meetings per week.

2. Staff members are to join a Fasting Team and participate weekly at whatever level of involvement they are able. (Fasting is defined as some version of not eating food.)

3. Staff members are expected to regularly attend the weekly Encounter Service (unless their work schedule prohibits, in which case an additional Sacred Trust prayer meeting will be required).

4. Staff members are expected to regularly attend the weekly Tuesday 5:30-6:30 pm Staff Meeting (unless their work schedule prohibits, in which case an additional Sacred Trust prayer meeting will be required).

5. Attend the Annual All Staff Retreat (typically a weekend in the Fall).

6. Complete any assignments as assigned by staff supervisor.

7. Complete and turn in the monthly Staff Time Log.

8. Consistently attend and tithe to your local church when in town.

9. Take IHOP’s Purity Covenant.

10. Register with accountability software and select a fellow staff member as an accountability friend (such as X3Watch – www.x3watch.com). 11. Refrain from any alcoholic beverages while on staff.

12. Refrain from watching rated R movies while on staff.

13. Refrain from listening to ungodly music while on staff (use discretion).

As a member of The Prayer Room’s Staff, I commit to follow these guidelines and to repent to another staff member in the case that I break one of these commitments.
