Workshop Rules & Procedures

1. Each participant must be prepared to present 2 of the five selections of contrasting styles - R&B, Pop, Broadway Tunes, Country and Jazz. The total performance is limited to 5 minutes. All selections must be performed a cappella (without musical accompaniment). Participant will choose 1 (one) selection, coaches may choose to hear additional selections of their choosing.

2. If participant is under the age of 18, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. One form of identification is required.

3. This workshop is open to paid participants only.

4. Each participant must mail or fax completed application form and payment type to:

Or deliver to the above listed address before the 1st Session by Tuesday, August 1, 2006 or for the 2nd Session by Thursday, August 3, 2006. We strongly encourage participants to attend each session.

5. Participants must check in one (1) hour before the start of each session if you have not pre-registered by mail or fax.

6. All participants will be given consideration for possible performance at an Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame event.
