Columbus Aquatic Club “Hurricanes Swimming” 2014 Summer Tiger Sharks

The Columbus Aquatic Club is proud to present the Tiger Sharks summer swim program. This program is an introduction to the world of competitive swimming, geared toward having fun while learning the four competitive strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly.) We will also introduce the starts and turns that go with these strokes. This swim program will be run by The Columbus Hurricanes USA Swim Team Staff. Swimmers will have the opportunity to compete in 4 introductory level swim meets, as well as a season ending championship meet.

The program begins Monday June 9 and will run 8 weeks through Thursday July 31. We will have 4 mini meets at The Double Churches Pool, where swimmers will be able to show off their skills and compete against others in their age group. These meets are fun, low key, and all swimmers will receive awards.

Registration Dates: May 1 – May 20 Registration forms available at www.swimhurricanes.com under summer.

Late Registration June 2 - 5 8:00 – 10:00am @ Double Churches Pool.

Evaluations/Practice Group Placements June 4th & 5th @ 10:00am

Practice Times: June 9 – July 31 Double Churches Pool Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur. 10:00 – 10:50am
