Enterprise Services Communication – 09/06/13
UPDATE: What? Temporary Salary Reduction (TSR) leave issue in ESS Leave Tool has been resolved Who? All agencies who currently use the ESS Leave Tool Why? Notify the ESS Leave agencies that the TSR leave issue has been resolved When? For immediate distribution Enterprise Services has resolved the issue in the ESS Leave application for missing Temporary Salary Reduction (TSR) leave information.
All TSR leave requests are now displaying in the employees’ and supervisors’ views. The TSR leave balances will no longer display in the employees’ Time Accounts view in ESS effective 09/01/13 (except for Department of Corrections’ Teamsters bargaining unit employees). If the employee has a remaining TSR balance as of 08/31/13 and would like to submit late TSR leave prior to 09/1/13, they can submit the TSR leave request through ESS.

What? Temporary Salary Reduction (TSR) leave issue in ESS Leave Tool Who? All agencies who currently use the ESS Leave Tool Why? Notify the ESS Leave agencies of the TSR leave issue and possible workaround When? For immediate distribution Message: It was brought to our attention that Temporary Salary Reduction (TSR) leave information is no longer available in the ESS Leave application (except for Department of Corrections Teamsters bargaining unit employees). While Enterprise Services is working on a solution, we want to provide a possible workaround for processing late TSR leave requests. Currently in ESS, all TSR leave requests have been removed from the employees’ calendar view, overview of leave, supervisors’ team calendar and worklist view. If employees need to submit TSR leave requests, please use CATS to input these records for the September 10, 2013 payroll processing. If employees have submitted TSR leave requests in ESS and the requests are pending for approval, please wait for the issue to be resolved so that the requests can be processed through ESS. Be aware, once the TSR leave is approved in ESS, a retro will occur on the employee in the subsequent payroll. Updated communication will be provided when the issue has been resolved. Questions?
