Possible Interview Questions

We may begin by asking you to elaborate on information from your application to Upward Bound. After that we will ask you several of the following questions.

 Describe yourself as a student, in terms of homework/study habits, class participation, grades, organization, and effort.

 Describe your strengths and weaknesses as a student.

 What are your plans after graduation from high school?

 What goals do you have?

 Have you considered any particular college and what have you considered as a major of study?

 How would friends, family and teachers describe you?

 Describe your strengths and weaknesses as a person. How could you improve as a student and as a person?

 How does living in a dorm sound to you?

 How does participating fully and being extremely active sound to you?

 In what areas do you feel you could use support? (family, friends, personal, social)
