Program Description

The Hispanos Unidos de Fort Smith Scholarship Program is available on a competitive basis to graduating high school seniors of Hispanic heritage. Students must be enrolled full-time as a first year freshman during the 2010-2011 academic year. Awards are in the amount of $500.

Eligibility Requirements

* Be of Hispanic heritage * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (GPA Certification Form) * Be a graduating high school senior with plans to enroll full-time in a degree-seeking program at a two-year or four-year U.S. accredited institution during the Fall 2010 academic year. (Enrollment Verification Form) * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
