Completion Timeline: December/ January- Student and Parent Apply for PIN (www.pin.ed.gov) Winter Break- Research Financial Aid @ www.fafsa.ed.gov January – Access Online Application and complete personal information sections January- Arrange to complete 2013 Taxes ASAP (Early February at the latest) January / February- Complete and Submit FAFSA form Online (March 2 deadline- turn in early!) Do not wait for taxes- estimate and return to form to correct TBA- Computer Lab FAFSA Assistance Night- Line by Line February– Lab available for in school assistance with FAFSA Application (See Counselor)

For the 2014-2015 college school year, you will need financial information from 2013. Please be prepared to reference the following material that applies to you and your family:
Social Security Card California Driver’s License or Identification Card 2013 W-2 Forms and other records of money earned Your 2013 Federal Income Tax Return- IRS From 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, 1040 TeleFile, foreign tax return Your parents 2013 Federal Income Tax Return (Try to complete taxes by late January/ early February) You and Your Parents 2013 untaxed income records-Social Security, Temporary Assistance of Needy Families, Welfare, or Veterans Benefits Records You and Your Parents current Bank Statements You and Your Parents Current Business and Investment Mortgage Information, Business and Farm Records, Stock, Bond, and other Investment Records You and Your Parent’s Alien Registration or Permanent Residence Card (if not U.S. citizen)
