VALDERS VILLAGE BOARD MEETING NOTICE & AGENDA
Following the Pledge of Allegiance & roll call; the Public Hearing for the 2018 Proposed Budget will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 starting at 6:00PM at the Valders Village Office 207 South Liberty Street, Valders WI. After the close of the public hearing the Village Board will convene the regular monthly board meeting for December. The purpose of the meeting is to take action on the following:
1. Adoption of agenda. 2. Public Input. (Pertaining to items listed on the agenda, unless pre-registered with the Clerk prior to the meeting. Time shall be limited to three minutes, unless approved by a 2/3 majority vote of the board). 3. Motion to approve meeting minutes from 11/13/17. 4. Motion to approve November Treasurer’s Report. 5. Motion to approve November Village Vouchers. 6. Motion to approve November Utility Vouchers. 7. Motion to adopt the 2018 proposed Village budget and set the 2017 tax levy mill rate. 8. Notice of resignation of Christopher Burton from the Valders Zoning Board of Appeals. (Moved from Village limits)
9. REPORT OF COMMITTEES PUBLIC SAFETY, (Includes police, fire, ems & building regulations), Marcus Bartelme, Chair A) Updates from the EMS Director& Fire Chief. B) Motion to approve renewal of Joint Powers Agreement Between Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch and the Village of Valders effective 3/1/18. C) Review of monthly MCSD patrol invoice & patrol logs.
PUBLIC WORKS, (Includes streets, sidewalks & utilities) John Regan, Chair D) Updates from Director of Public Works on municipal operations.
PUBLIC WELFARE, (includes health, parks & recreations & nuisances), Donald Schuh, Chair
TIF DISTRICT & PLAN COMMISSION, Devan Schneider, Chair E) Updates on TID #2 progress to date.
FINANCE (Includes insurance, licensing & personnel) Lyle Schwoerer, Chair F) Motion to approve Bi-Annual Resolution 2017-8, Eligible Election Officials for the 2018-2019 term.

10. Motion to convene in closed session in accordance with WI State Statutes 19.85(1)(c) public employee evaluations & compensation and 19.85(1)(e) competitive bargaining of public contracts. (EMS Contracted Services). 11. Motion to reconvene in open session in accordance with WI State Statues 19.85(2). 12. Discussion/Motions resulting from closed session. 13. Motion to adjourn.
