[1384] 2 1 Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives 2 concurring: 3 4 That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, 5 recognize Columbia College as a premier institution of higher 6 education for women that plays a vital role in our state and 7 proclaim Saturday, April 24, 2010, as Columbia College Day in 8 South Carolina. 9 10 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to 11 Caroline Whitson, PhD, President, Columbia College. 12 XX 13
