Tellers are responsible for developing customer relationships by advising on and selling a wide range of financial services. You will proactively seek out new customers through in-store marketing and in-aisle prospecting. In addition to sales activities, tellers are responsible for assisting other members of the sales team as needed, coordinating the marketing and promotions of the branch, and overseeing customer service issues and helping resolve them in a timely manner. Refer customers to other areas of U.S. Bank as appropriate. Tellers excel at converting service opportunities into sales events.

 Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal/customer service skills, selling, cross selling and referral skills. Candidates should have at least 1-2 year’s sales and cash handling experience, possess high energy and be self-motivated. Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays.

The Teller Position is for up to 40 hours per week.

Experience in Sales, Marketing, Banking, Promotions, and/or Advertising. High level of understanding of Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to self motivate and to motivate others.

This Position will entail the following: Tellering, customer service, follow up ability, marketing and promotions, knowledge or ability to understand the following; checking and savings accounts, home loans/lines of credit, auto loans, personal lines of credit, credit cards. Small business products and services, such as new accounts, lines of credit, leasing products and, commercial real estate loans. Treasury management products, merchant services, payroll services, marketing, public speaking. Bilingual is a plus.
