Degree Laurea Duration 3 years Language ITALIAN ECTS credits 180 Campus Matelica Programme Curriculum 1 Safety of Zootechnical Production in the Mediterranean area and in description developing countries Curriculum 2 Promotion of Typical Food of Animal Origin The Degree has two curricula: one is oriented towards the safety of zootechnical production in the Mediterranean areas and developing countries and provides the graduate with skills in prevention, monitoring and control of hygiene of food of animal origin, food for animals, principles for realization of facilities for breeding animals, and for processing the products. The second is oriented towards the nutritional quality, the technological and sensory quality of products and typical food of animal origin, and provides the graduate with skills in prevention, verification and control of hygiene of food of animal origin, veterinary and public health with consequent action and support under the directives of the European Union, all essential in ensuring a high standard of safety in the food chain. After this date enrolment is still possible until January with the payment of a penalty of 25€. NON-EU CITIZENS, who reside abroad, in the period March-May must get in touch with the nearest Italian Embassy or Consulate to apply for pre-enrollment. Students lacking this certification, are asked to pass the Language Entry Test at the University. The yearly language test is usually held in September. For a.y. 2017-18, entry test on 1 September, 2017. Tuition fees On the basis of the country of origin the amount can vary from 355€ to 1000€. Exceptionally for a.y. 2017-18, it is confirmed the university tuition fees have been waived, except for regional fees 140€ and revenue stamp (marca da bollo) 16€.
