Doris Ann Hendrix Project Grant Freda Branam – Beta Phi Chapter “Picture Perfect Science Lessons” Description: These lessons incorporate quality children’s literature into science instruction.
Marilyn Ivey Project Grant Lynn Cole – Kappa Chapter “Second Step Program for Middle School” Description: This program focuses on social and personal skills which can address factors which protect young adolescents and help promote their success.
Vision Foundation Project Grant Jill Warren – Gamma Alpha Chapter “Coding and Robots” Description: Students will use Osmo Coding on the IPad which will allow them to snap physical blocks together promoting tactile and fine motor skills while using problem solving and logic skills.
Vision Foundation Project Grant Missy Locke – Phi Chapter “Raider-Space” Description: Students will have a place in the school library to explore, construct, and do hands- on learning that will also lead to reading opportunities through manuals, research, and interest in topics.
