Hours: 23 hours a week term time only + 5 days (flexible availability to attend key meetings in school holidays) Work pattern: Monday – Thursday 9.30 – 3.0, Friday 9.30 – 12.30 Grade: H23-25) £11,147 - £11,876.30 - dependent on qualifications and experience. Safeguarding Leader On behalf of Enquire Learning Trust, the Governors of Harrow Gate Primary are seek to employ a diligent and rigorous Safeguarding Leader who is totally committed to ensuring pupils are kept as safe as possible and barriers to learning are understood and reduced as far as possible.

This new, non-teaching post is a complex role requiring significant skills and strengths to take responsibility as Designated Safeguarding Leader, Children Looked After Lead, CAF Co- ordinator and key point of contact internally and with a range of external agencies involved in supporting our most vulnerable pupils and families in the most challenging of circumstances.

It is not a requirement that the successful candidate is a trained teacher, but resilience, high levels of emotional intelligence and non-judgmental adherence to policies and procedures are essential. In-depth knowledge and/or experience in a related professional role are desirable in order to fulfil the complexities of this role, for which appropriate additional training and supervision will be provided.
