Linda Campell is sixteen years old and lives in Houston, Texas. She sells hamburgers at a Mc Donald´s restaurant. When she is older, she wants to
attend a very good college. But college is expensive, so she has to save all the money she earns. Linda works on Saturdays from 10 a.m to 5 p.m and on Sundays from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. It´s very hard work and at the weekends, there is no time to go out with her boyfriend Ron. On the one hand Linda hasn´t got much free time, but on the other hand she gets food at the restaurant and she meets very nice people there.
Ron Carlson is seventeen years old and lives in Houston, Texas. He sells ice-cream in an ice-cream parlour. He really needs the money because he
wants to fly to Europe in the summer holidays. Ron can´t fly to Europe without a Eurail Pass, and this pass is very expensive. He works Friday night from 6 to 10, Saturday from 10 a.m to 8 p.m and Sunday from 12 a.m to 8 p.m. On the one hand he likes the job because he meets nice people and it´s lot of fun to talk to the customers. On the other hand, he doesn´t like to stand all the time and if he eats too much ice-cream, he will get fat.
