The OLC Innovate: Innovations in Blended and Online Learning, A Joint Conference Presented by the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) and Cal State University-MERLOT is scheduled for April 20-22, 2016 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The conference is designed with a special track on Workforce Innovation. Workforce Innovation topics include:

 Competency based learning

 Workforce learning and performance

 Industry/higher education collaboration

 Learning and performance innovations

(please contact Kim Shibata to receive a MERLOT Partner Code) CSU-MERLOT will also be holding the First Annual TAACCCT Community Meeting! The goals of the meeting will include:

1. Scope and draft plans for building industry-sector communities within TAACCCT and supported by SkillsCommons and the TAACCCT Learning Network.

2. Provide TAACCCT grantees the support and infrastructure services to be successful in meeting/exceeding their immediate DOL requirements and their longer term goals for their workforce development programs.

3. Facilitate networking between grantees, non-grantees, industry organizations, and technology companies to help recognize the value of and establish partnerships in advancing workforce development programs.
