Shaded chemicals have a very high hazard rating, and mitigating practices may not be effective in reducing this hazard.
Pesticides with just the chemical name shaded have been identified by EPA as pesticides of national concern with high leaching potential. Other pesticides found in Idaho groundwater are included as well. Even if there is no hazard associated with these chemicals, mitigation is recommended to reduce leaching loss.
