This link will provide information to all Assistants selected to work World Fitness IDEA 2009. It will be updated approximately every 2 weeks. THE ASSISTANT PROGRAM HAS REACHED CAPACITY. ALL APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER MAY 8 WILL BE PUT ON WAITING LIST. Look for your name on one of the shifts below (there are 5 total). If you do not find your name, you can wait until next update or contact Dana Rucci, [email protected]. Also, please contact Dana if you cannot work the shift to which you are assigned or if you need to cancel.

The conference hotel is the Anaheim Marriott Hotel and reservation information can be found on our website. A Roommate List is provided through member services and you can call to be added/get a copy. (1-800-999-4332, ext. 7)

Contact Dana for more information!!! Thanks! SETUP (Shift 1) This shift starts on Tuesday, August 11 or Wednesday, August 12 depending on your assignment. You will work all day Wednesday and a short shift Thursday morning. The SETUP assistants are split into different shifts/assignments – Registration, Operations (OPS) or Expo Hall/Store. If you see your name below and CANNOT work this shift, please contact me ASAP to make changes. Upon completion of your shift on Thursday, you will be given a wristband and will be able to attend the conference sessions on space-available basis.

Pre-Conference (Shift 2) The following assistants have been assigned to work as a Room Monitor for a Pre-Conference session(s) on Wednesday, August 12. You will then work as a Room Monitor Thursday thru Saturday (no Sunday shift unless you want one). Specific Session assignments will be made by end of May. Please e-mail Dana with your requests. Assistants will meet with Dana at Assistant Registration (look for counter at Attendee Registration) on Wednesday morning.

Expo Hall (Shift 4) The following people have been assigned to work the IDEA Store/Booth, T-shirt Giveaway and/or Exhibitor Registration. If all of you are not needed in the hall, then you will be assigned to work in Operations or Room Monitors. Check-on is 4pm on Wednesday, August 12. You will work Wednesday evening and a shift each day Thursday thru Saturday (no Sunday).

WORLD SHIFT (Shift 5) All World assistants need to attend the meeting on Wednesday, August 12 at 7pm. Specific meeting location will be available later. Note: you can check-in early (4:30pm) to get your badge and wristband so you can shop in the Expo Hall. There are two assignments – Operations and Room Monitors You will be assigned a shift a day Thursday through Sunday (final session ends at 11am). You are able to attend sessions when not working your shift.

OPERATIONS (OPS) Assistants These assistants are assigned to work with our OPS team. Specific assignments and times will be given onsite. Please attend the Assistant Meeting on Tuesday at 7pm.
