The seminar will cover opportunities for co-operation in Electronic Information, Chemical, F&B, Auto Parts and Energy Efficiency Industries in Huai’an.

About Huai’an City Under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu province, Huai’an City is located at the north of Yangtze Delta Region, covering an area of 10,100 square km with a population of 5.4 million. Huai’an is a developing city with one of the highest import & export trade volume in the Jiangsu province. Total import & export volume reached 4.11 Billion with Foreign Direct Investment reaching 1.2 Billion. Currently, there are more than 2,000 foreign entities setting up companies or trade offices in Huai’an City, including Global 500 companies such as Hancook Tire from Korea, Metro AG from Germany, Air Liquide from France, ITOCHU Corporation from Japan and Foxconn Technology Group from Taiwan. With 3 new expressways in construction, the future travel time from Huai’an to Nanjing, Shanghai and Beijing will take only 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours respectively. There are also direct flights from Huai’an to major trading hub such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Beijing, Shanghai and other routes available via connecting flights to major airports. Huai’an is currently focusing on the four pillar industries, namely Electronic Information, F&B, Special Steel and Salt Processing while promoting the two new emerging industries which are high-end equipment manufacturing and new energy auto & parts.
