Dear Ms Edmond

Harbours Act 1964 Proposed Development at Wick Harbour Wick Harbour

Thank you for consulting SEPA on the screening and scoping opinion for the above development proposal by way of your letter which we received on 21 October 2016.

Advice to the determining authority

Presuming that standard mitigation measures are put in place we consider that, with respect to our specific interests, Environmental Impact Assessment is not required for the above proposal.

Where relevant the developer should follow the guidance outlined in our SEPA standing advice for The Department of Energy and Climate Change and Marine Scotland on marine consultations, which also provides advice to developers working in the marine environment.

Unless there is a potentially significant impact on an aspect of the environment regulated by SEPA which is not dealt with adequately by our standard advice then we need not be consulted further on this proposal.
