ROTARY CLUB DONATES $2500 TO REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The Rotary Club of Carleton Place and Mississippi Mills has donated $2500 to the Quality Care For Life Campaign to raise funds for the Almonte General Hospital (AGH)/Fairview Manor (FVM) Redevelopment Project.

“AGH/FVM Foundation Board Chair Andy Brown came to talk to us about the Redevelopment Project and we felt it was important to support it, because the Hospital and Manor serve the people of both Carleton Place and Mississippi Mills,” said Rotary Club President Brenda MacDonald-Rowe.

While the Rotary Club’s mandate does not permit it to make multi-year pledges of support, MacDonald-Rowe said the Club has “every intention” of donating the same amount to the project in each of the next two years.
