Rev. Julia Ledford, former WBC member, will be sharing from her book SAVORING THE SACRED, THE REAL, and THE TRUE at our JOY Group meeting on Tuesday, October 13th, at 10:45 AM, in the large Fellowship Hall.

Men’s Ministry Monthly Breakfast, this Saturday, October 17th, at 7:30 AM in the large Fellowship Hall. This is a monthly scheduled breakfast meeting open to ALL men of WBC and their guests. We provide a home cooked meal, prayer and a devotional.
The next American Red Cross Blood Drive will be Saturday, October 24 at Wendell Baptist. This date is coming up soon and we need a new Blood Drive Team Leader. For details please contact the church office.
Preschool Recognition Sunday is October 25th during both services. Breakfast will be served during the Sunday School hour and all church members are invited to attend. Please sign-up in your Sunday School class to help provide food for the breakfast.
The Children’s Events Team is collecting candy and treats for our Festifall Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, November 1. Candy should be individually wrapped. Small treats such as bouncy balls, costume rings, stickers, small bubble bottles, etc. are always welcome. A box for donations will be in the hallway entrance between the preschool hall and the new fellowship hall. We appreciate your support for this community outreach and children’s event.
YAM JAM One in four kids in North Carolina are not sure where their next meal is coming from. Now you have a chance to help with this problem. Come join us as we team up with the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and go to glean sweet potatoes to help with NC hunger. We will be going out on November 7 in the morning and return around 1-2 in the afternoon. You can sign up to go using the link below.
