Lead2Succeed 40 The Lead2Succeed (L2S) processes include assessment, training, evaluation, and 6/20 (L2S) Course follow up. The process requires close coordination between Herdt Consulting Inc., your executive management, and your training staff. The goal is to convert managers at all levels into leaders who set the example, seek responsibility, take responsibility for their actions, train their people as a team, make sound and timely decisions, communicate effectively, plan for success, and create a positive, enthusiastic, and supportive environment in which their team members can be successful. L2S includes four elements:  Leadership Assessment - Identifies what types of activities energize a leader as well what activities energize and frustrate his team members.  Focus & Alignment Workshop - Determines the purpose, values, vision, mission, and goals that will guide the company into the future and provide the common thread for developing leaders.  Application and Action Sessions - Training and application of selected leadership topics. While the application of these topics may vary from level to level, normally the same set of topics are used throughout the program from executive management through mid-level management to first-line supervisors. This allows the creation of a common "leadership language" and enables those at each level to coach and mentor others as they undergo the program.  Evaluation and Follow-up - Periodic measurements and reports to determine the progress being achieved in individual skill development and the overall program goals. The Application and Action Sessions each consisting of no more than 12 participants from the same level of the organization, are the heart of the L2S process. They are multi-sensory in that they require reading, listening, writing and discussion from all of the participants. They use spaced repetition in that they are two-hour discussions held once a week for 8 to 10 weeks at your organization's site. Our experienced facilitators lead these discussions that draw from the experiences of the participants. Available topics are shown below. If necessary, we will develop additional modules to fit your specific needs: Leadership Philosophy, Time management, Managing conflict, Productivity, Ethics, Building Trust, Globalization, Decision making, Change management, Goal setting, Delegating, Motivation, Lessons from the top, Learning organizations, Meeting management, Team Building, Communications and Coaching
