Renaissance is an organization that focuses on student and staff recognition. This is a handpicked group of students from a variety of backgrounds, who work together as a team to recognize academic achievement and hard work on campus. The following are activities implemented by Renaissance: - Luncheons - After school activities – Rallies - Leadership Conferences - Fundraising activities - C.L.A.S.S. Awards – Student Achievement- Staff Appreciation- Community Events

Contract of Responsibilities for Participation in Vista Murrieta’s Renaissance: I understand the following and accept as my personal code of ethics: 1. RESPONSIBILITY- You will be expected to complete any and all committee work in a timely fashion 2. LEADERSHIP- As a leader on campus you will be expected to display all qualities of a leader and positive role model 3. COURAGE- It is expected of my students to be able to step up as a leader. You will be expected to participate in spirit days, run events, be on BNN, and be a role model to the students on campus. 4. ACCOUNTABILITY- As a leader you are held to a higher standard; the choices you make outside of school can have repercussions within the classroom 5. HONESTY- I understand the importance of being honest and will not be dishonest to benefit other students on this campus, as well as myself. 6. DIGNITY- I will respect the dignity and individuality of the people I encounter during my tenure in Renaissance.

In addition, the following must be upheld: 1. There are three unity dinners held each semester, you are required to attend at least one per semester (two a year). 2. You are required to attend the CLASS Awards that are held at the end of May. 3. You are expected to attend school functions, such as: sporting events, tailgate party, dances, leadership conferences, orientation nights, etc…. These become part of your time card for the class and will help to determine your grade. 4. You are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA or above. 5. Leaders will give appropriate notice when they are going to miss a Renaissance event. You must contact the advisor, not your friend!
