Summary: We are looking for a design and web-standards aware code guru to help us bring stunning web design, engineering prowess, and engaging user experiences to our decidedly varied clientele. You will have excellent oral, written, and pictorial communication skills, and will work well with other interesting and talented people. We specialize in providing successful digital strategies, e-commerce solutions, and database management services to business, government and non-profit organizations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Code new websites, applying your experience to getting the details right for the client above and beyond the stated requirements  Maintain existing websites  Assist in the documentation of project specifications  Ensure software meets client-approved specifications  Help account management peers to translate client needs into technical requirements  Help to determine the right technology for the task at hand Professionalism:  Accurately estimate task durations  Prioritize competing tasks/projects to ensure on-time completion of deliverables  Generate easily understandable and helpful documentation  Work quickly and efficiently  Continuously work to improve your workflow Required Skills:  5+ years of PHP experience  5+ years with LAMP  5+ years of experience with MySQL or Postgres  3+ years with Drupal, especially module development  5+ years with Apache, configuration for multiple websites on same system  JavaScript, jQuery, DHTML & DOM  Servlet, SOAP, REST  Familiarity with Mac & Windows  Extensive ability with CSS layout  Cross-browser compatibility  Strong UNIX/Linux/Solaris skills  An aptitude to learn new technologies  Demonstrated competency in Cross-Site Scripting and SQL Injection prevention methods Desired Skills:  RIA frameworks (Adobe AIR, Silverlight)  Experience with Eclipse, Netbeans, Dreamweaver, or similar IDE  Experience with CVS/SVN version control  Experience with AJAX, XML and XSLT  Familiarity with content management systems  Database performance tuning  Requires Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 5 years experience in the field or in a related area
