Directions to Macalester
From Interstate 94, exit on Snelling Avenue and go south on Snelling Avenue. The stadium and fieldhouse is on the right hand side of Snelling, after Grand Avenue. Parking is available on the street and in the parking lot between the fieldhouse and stadium.
From the north on Interstate 35, take 35E into St. Paul. Exit to Interstate 94 westbound, and follow the directions above.
From the south on Interstate 35, take I-35E into St. Paul. Exit at Ayd Mill Road (exit #104B). At second light, take a left onto Grand Avenue (westbound). Turn left (southbound) onto Snelling Avenue. Follow the directions above
Stadium Facilities The Stadium houses the Macalester College Football team. Visiting teams have access to ultrasound, estim, heat, and whirlpools. Taping tables are provided outside of the visitor’s locker room. In the spring, track has use of the stadium for treatments during events.
Fieldhouse Facilities On game days, the fieldhouse training room is used by all sports, excluding football. Visiting teams have access to ultrasound, estim, heat, whirlpools, and a separate taping room. The visitors locker room is located down the hall from the training room.
General Information -A Certified Athletic Trainer is on site for all events. -The Certified Athletic Trainer traveling with the team can administer treatments as needed, but if NO Certified is traveling, a prescription with specific parameters must be sent for treatments to be administered. Please let us know in advance if no Certified will be traveling. -If you will be practicing on site the day prior to your event, please notify us ahead of time to allow for practice field setup. -Ice and water are provided on the field throughout your event. -A team physician is in attendance at all football games. EMS and a team physician are on call for all other events -Student Medical Assistants are available for assistance. Please let us know if you will be in need of their help.
