You will be creating a project on a paper plate based on a European Country. The project will describe the government, economy, geography, and culture of that country.

On the front of the plate, you need to have the following items:

Center of the Plate:

 The name of your country  A hand-drawn map of your country with at least two cities (one must be a capital city) and two physical features on it, labeled in BLACK pen, and COLORED  A picture of the flag

Along the edge of the plate:

 Choose six of the ABCs of culture. Write a description of the cultural element and include a hand-drawn image in color.

On the back of the plate:

 The type of government  Population information: Population, population density, life expectancy, infant mortality rate, fertility rate, language  Economic information: currency, GDP per capita (in US Dollars), major export, major import  Physical information: size of country, two physical features, climate region  Your name and class period

Extra Credit:

 You may prepare a recipe from your country, and bring enough for everyone in the class to try it. You must include the recipe, ingredients, and provide napkins, utensils, or plates. You will not have a way to keep your dish cold or warm it, so I recommend you bring cookies or another baked good.
