 To provide best practice patient care as a pivotal member of the multidisciplinary hospital team, Position Purpose: acting in a position of advocacy for the patient and their family  Act as a clinical resource in women’s health nursing  To provide clinical nursing encompassing consultation and clinical practice, and be involved in education, research and the planning and development of chemotherapy services.  Division 1 Registered Nurse Qualifications:  Post Graduate qualification in area of clinical practice area of women’s health and /or oncology  Post graduate qualification in Chemotherapy/Cancer services or working towards.  Contemporary clinical nursing practice within cancer nursing and the provision of chemotherapy services  Contemporary clinical nursing practice within women’s health and gynaecolgy services and surgical procedures  Chemotherapy Nursing Module 1,2 & 3 (Peter MacCullum) or equivalent Relevant Competencies: ANC Competency set by relevant professional body for clinical specialty AHPRA
