THE MADISON COUNTY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS Will hold their regular monthly meeting, “MONDAY”, JANUARY 9TH, 2017 AT 7:00 P.M.
in the CONFERENCE ROOM OF THE MADISON COUNTY ENGINEER’S OFFICE AT 825 U.S. RT. 42 NE LONDON, OHIO 43140. The property owner or a representative “MUST BE PRESENT” OR NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON THE CASE. AN ADDITIONAL FEE WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESCHEULE THE CASE.
1. 16-34 – Justin Powell, applicant, 9422 St. Rt. 722, Laura, Ohio 45337 c/o Myrna Teeters, property owner, 81 E. Court Street, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162, requests permission for a sign height variance from 15’ up to 32’ (17’ variance); a sign size variance 20’ total square foot size variance for a maximum of 320 square feet per side (only 2 sides); and a variance for the total setback from the road right of way, which should be 100’; they are asking to set it at the existing building setback point which is part of the code requirement; at U.S. Rt. 40 in Jefferson Township. 2. 16-35 – Darryl A. Beachy, applicant/property owners 9595 Amity Pike, Plain City, Ohio 43064, requests permission for an A-1 conditional use permit to split out 3.025 acres from a mother parcel of 67.16 acres, to construct a single-family residence on Carters Mill Road in Canaan Township. (Parcel: 418 – Aerial: 6 – VMS: 1618 – Tax Pin #: 01-00380.000) (First Agricultural housing condition)
All property owners within 500’ of the above properties are invited to attend this meeting to ask any questions or make any comments.
