12 Approve contract to employ Kelly Proctor part-time, temporary, no benefits, for PAT Program at a rate of $15.00 per hour not to exceed 37.5 hour per week or $25,000 total, effective October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012. Funding: PAT Grant

13 Approve to pay Josh Reynolds $4,000.00 for renovation of JROTC building at East Lawrence High. Funding-Local Funds

14 Approve agreement with 517 Student Ministries / Scottie Bolden to provide presentations on Bullying, Cyber Bullying, anger Management and Conduct for all high and middle schools at a fee of $2,000. Funding: At Risk

15 Approve School Expenditures A) East Lawrence High 1) To pay Robert Johnson and John Carr $300.00 each, Keri Aycock and Ivy Howard $200 each, and Loyd Jones $500 for Band Camp Instructors.

As required by Section 16-9-23 of the Laws of Alabama Relating to Education, and as Superintendent of the Lawrence County School System, I make the following written personnel recommendations for action by The Lawrence County Board of Education: Heath Grimes Superintendent and Board Secretary

RETIREMENT

1. Susan Champion-ELES, retirement as Special Education teacher effective October 1, 2012. 2. Wanda Heflin-ELHS, retirement as Custodian effective October 1, 2012. 3. Ronald Beavers-Speake, retirement as teacher effective November 1, 2012.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE

1. Sasha Rogers-ELHS, teacher, FMLA leave of absence September 26, 2012 through November 2, 2012. 2. Jimmy Black-RAH, teacher, military leave of absence effective August 4-19, 2012 and September 6-7, 2012.
