Steps to be followed to register for Organic Noni Cultivation

The cultivator who wishes to grow Noni plant under Organic Noni Cultivation Programme having a minimum of 5 acres land with good irrigation source shall follow the steps given below.

1. Fill the INCC Registration form and field particular form with all the particulars and enclose a demand draft for Rs. 5000/- drawn in favour of Indian Noni Cultivation Council payable at Chennai as advance towards Organic Noni Cultivation and send to

Indian Noni Cultivation Council 12, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Old Mahabalipuram Road, Perungudi, Chennai – 600 096.

The total programme cost will be Rs. 6000/- per acre with minimum of 5 Acres.

2. After receiving the Registration form INCC will send the receipt for the demand draft and a welcome letter. INCC will send two copies of MOU (Agreement) to cultivator and the cultivator shall sign in the MOU and return back to INCC. Then the MOU will be signed by Project Director of Cultivation and one copy will be sent back to the cultivator.

3. The cultivator shall understand the cost of cultivation, methods of cultivation and terms and conditions thoroughly before signing the agreement.

4. Within 60 days the cultivator shall send the balance amount of Rs. 25,000/- to INCC 5. After receipt of the amount INCC will send the receipt and a letter requesting the cultivator to come for Organic Noni Cultivation training to be given in our National Research Centre for Noni at Salavakkam near Chenglepet in Tamilnadu.

6. At the end of the training programme a manual on Good Agricultural Practices will be presented and supplied to cultivator for their day today activities and follow ups.

7. Once the cultivator is ready with pits, manures and drip Irrigation system suggested during the training programme, he has to send a request letter to INCC for seedlings.

8. After receipt of this letter INCC will send 1500 seedlings for 5 acres within 30 days. The transport charges of the seedlings from our NRCN to the cultivator field will be met by the cultivator.

9. After receipt of the seedlings the cultivator shall plant the seedlings within 3 days. It is the responsibility of the cultivator to strictly follow all the advises and Guidelines given by INCC.

10. INCC will give free technical advise through phone or letter as and when requested by the cultivator during the agreement period.

11. If the cultivator requires personal visit by INCC Technical staff to their field, the cultivator has to pay Rs. 1000/- per visit and the actual, boarding, lodging and conveyance charges of Technical Staff, to INCC.

12. INCC will procure Noni fruits after 24 months from the date of planting.

13. The cultivator should give a minimum of 15 days time to INCC in writing to arrange the vehicle before the harvest of Noni fruits.
