Pre-learning Learning Intentions End of term assessment Assessment I understand and can describe R Y G R Y G ways and resources to implement Ministry of Education principles and current best practice in supporting ESL learners in my classroom. I can build an ESL learner profile, including individual assessment information that describes support needs and adaptations for success. I can give specific examples of ways to build a community of attachment to provide a safe, inclusive classroom for my ESL (and all) learners. I can apply the principles of Universal Designs for Learning to adapt my instructional planning across the curriculum. I can design learning opportunities that build cultural awareness and give students a sense of belonging in the classroom. I can identify and describe the strengths of inquiry-based learning to support inclusion. I can articulate a personal vision of inclusion for my classroom.
