PROPOSAL FOR CHEROKEE SPRINGS PLAZA ENTRY FEATURE Tahlequah, Oklahoma

BASE BID

ITEM DESCRIPTION 1. SITE GRADING AND DRAINAGE Includes all labor, material and tools required to perform earthwork required to provide site drainage around the entry feature and planting areas. The cost of salvaged and imported topsoil to be included.

2. UNIT MASONRY WALL WITH STONE VENEER Includes all labor, material and tools necessary to construct the CMU wall and column core and stone veneer, complete with concrete footing and backfill. Cost to include the reinforcement design and stamping by a Structural Engineer licensed in the State of Oklahoma. Both sides of the street included.

3. WATER FEATURE BOULDER WORK Includes all labor, material and tools necessary to construct the boulder work and stone runnels for the water feature. Cost to include providing, unloading, and placing the boulders in an artistic manner, grouting joints, and providing planting pockets with drainage rock and weepholes. Both water features included.

4. SHOTCRETE WATER FEATURE BASE Includes all labor, material and tools necessary to construct the shotcrete base for the water feature with reinforcing and all pipe penetrations. Cost to include reinforcement design and stamping by a Structural Engineer licensed in the State of Oklahoma. Both water features included.

5. WATER FEATURE MECHANICAL Includes all labor, material and tools necessary to purchase and install pumps, filters, nozzles, valves, pipes and fittings, lighting and all other fountain components. Cost to include an allowance of $2,500 for programming the feature. Cost to include shop drawings, purchasing and installing the concrete mechanical vault, and backfill around vault and all piping trenches.

6. PLANTING Includes all labor, material and tools necessary to purchase, unload and plant all trees, shrubs, groundcovers and sod indicated on the plans. Cost of planting to include soil amendments, mulch, and steel edging.

IRRIGATION Includes all labor, material and tools necessary to purchase and install all piping, heads, wire, valves and other components indicated on the irrigation plans. Cost to include the rerouting of the existing mainline, if it passes under the water feature after staking is completed.

8. UTILITY SERVICE Includes all time necessary to coordinate required electrical service for both water features. Owner to pay all fees and provide all information necessary to establish meters, transformers, switches, etc., to serve the water features.

9. ALTERNATE #1 Includes all labor, material and tools necessary to electronically link both water feature lighting and wind control systems into the North Show Controller with DMX cable in an underground conduit. Cost to include the expense of trenching and backfilling. Deduct the cost of one show controller, and one anemometer.

10. ALTERNATE #2 Includes all labor, material and tools necessary to install inline submersible variable speed pumps at each fountain nozzle, independent of waterfall pump system. Nozzle pumps to be controlled by North Show Controller, and capable of producing 35 GPM at 8 feet of head. Cost to include an allowance of $6,000 for programming the fountain jets and lighting systems. Additional wiring and controls to be included in the cost of this item.

NOTE: ALL COSTS AND EXPENSES NOT SPECIFICALLY ENUMERATED ABOVE SHALL BE DIVIDED INTO THE COST OF EACH ITEM, SO THE TOTAL PROVIDED REPRESENTS THE TOTAL COST OF THE PROJECT, COMPLETE AND IN PLACE, FUNCTIONING PER THE DESIGN INTENT.
