CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by acting chair Keane at 6:30 pm.

ELECTION OF EAST PIERSON ROAD CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY CHAIRPERSON

Motion by Folks, supported by Rowe to nominate Bois as chair of the East Pierson Road Corridor Improvement Authority. Roll call YEA: Keane, Barrett, Newton, Folks, Rowe NAY: None ABSTENTION: Bois

Folks submitted revised bylaws to the membership for review and consideration.

NEW BUSINESS 1. Creating and adopting rules governing the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority procedures and the holding of regular meetings, subject to the approval of the Flushing City Council Motion by Keane, supported by Folks to postpone the adoption of rules governing the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority procedures and the holding of regular meets, subject to the approval of the Flushing City Council until the body’s next regular meeting. Roll Call YEA: Barrett, Newton, Folks, Rowe, Bois, Keane NAY: None Approved with amendments at the September 28, 2015 meeting 2. Appointment of the city treasurer as the treasurer of the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority Motion by Keane, supported by Rowe to appoint the city treasurer as the treasurer of the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority. 3. Appointment of the city manager as the secretary of the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority Motion by Rowe, supported by Folks to appoint the city manager as the secretary of the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority. 4. Discuss and adopting a regular meeting schedule for the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority Motion by Folks, supported by Keane to adopt the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm as the regular meeting schedule for the East Pierson Corridor Improvement Authority in 2015, excluding the month of December. Roll Call YEA: Newton, Folks, Rowe, Bois, Keane, Barrett NAY: None

5. Declare it is necessary to move forward with a development plan / tax increment finance plan to finance improvements within the development area Motion by Folks, supported by Rowe to hold a special meeting on September 9, 2015 at 4:00 pm to review a development plan and tax increment financing plan with question and answers from available advisors. Roll Call YEA: Newton, Folks, Rowe, Bois, Keane, Barrett NAY: None

Discussion was held on holding a future meeting with the Mount Morris Township DDA.
