Photo by Margie Pearce dated Thursday, January 26, 1961 HARRY BUCKINGHAM OF NEW CORYDON DIES FUNERAL SUNDAY FOR RETIRED OIL TRUCK DRIVER, 85 Harry Buckingham, 85, of New Corydon, died unexpectedly at 2 a.m. Thursday at his home, following a heart attack. He was a lifelong resident of the New Corydon community and was a retired oil truck driver for the Eastern Indiana Oil and Supply Company at Geneva. He was born in Wabash township, Jay county, May 23, 1875, the son of Elias and Almeda Bartmess Buckingham. He was married to Myrtle Fenters who died many years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Doris Buckingham, at home; Mrs. Chester (Madge) Stolz, Bryant R.R.; Mrs. John (Clara) Walter, Bryant R. R., and Mrs. Clarence (Gretchen), Snyder, Decatur; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Netha Bell, Anderson. A daughter and a sister preceded in death. Friends may call at the Yager Funeral Home until noon Sunday when the body will be taken to the Jay City E.U.B. church which he attended and where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev.
