Wedding Budget Directions

Step 1 – Open Microsoft Excel on the computer

Step 2 – Type the following headings into the following cells listed:

A1 – Quantity (how many) B1 – Item Description C1 – Price D1 – Cost

Step 3 – Change the font for Row 1 to Bold, Arial, 12pt. then change the cell size to fit the contents of the cells.

Step 4 – Begin typing in the following items and entering the price in column A2-C2

1. Facility Cost 2. Catering (quantity would be how many people are attending and the price per person would go under price) 3. Wedding Dress 4. Bridesmaid dresses 5. Tuxedos 6. Flowers 7. DJ 8. Invitations 9. Pictures

Step 5 – Set up your formulas to calculate your costs by following the below directions:

1. Click in cell D2 2. type = 3. click on cell A2 4. type * 5. click on cell C2 6. hit enter 7. drag this formula all the way down the list, copying it into the cells below to calculate the cost for each item

Step 6 – Save this to your ID number folder under the name Wedding Budget.

Step 7 – Setup document to print by going to Page Setup

1. On the Margins Tab select the box next to Horizontally under “Center on Page” 2. On the Sheet Tab select the box next to Gridlines under “Print” 3. Click OK

Step 8 – Click the Save button again…you will also need to print this document once it is completely finished.
