 This is a totally non-invasive procedure – you do not have to leave your home, nor do your pets. There is no preparation that needs to be done.  The products that will be used have no odour and pose no harm to anyone, including those suffering from asthma, allergies or respiratory issues.  Following is a list of things that will assist in the elimination process.

1. Keep your kitchen very clean. Do not allow grease, crumbs or clutter to accumulate anywhere. 2. Move stoves and refrigerators and scrub on, around, underneath and behind them. Remove all items from the tops of stoves and refrigerators prior to treatment. 3. Clean all surfaces, especially between counters and appliances. 4. Clean cupboards inside and outside. 5. Store all food, including pet food, in tightly sealed, roach-proof containers. Do not leave bowls of pet food on the floor overnight. 6. Garbage is attractive to roaches. Keep garbage, compost and recyclables in tightly sealed containers. Empty daily, preferably in the evening, because roaches are most active at night. 7. Wash and dry dishes, utensils, pots and pans immediately and do not allow dirty dishes to remain on the counter top or in the dishwasher overnight. 8. Keep your vacuum cleaner handy while cleaning. If you find a cockroach population behind appliances or in cupboards, suck it up with your vacuum. When you’re done, remove the vacuum bag; seal it inside a plastic bag, then dispose of both bags outside the building. 9. BE PATIENT – baits take several weeks to see results. Cockroaches will take the bait as a food source, but you must eliminate other food sources as much as possible during this time.  DO NOT use any insecticides in your unit. It may repel cockroaches away from the baits.  DO NOT use household cleaners near the baits. These may also repel cockroaches away from the baits.
