Qualifications: To be considered for this position, students must meet the following qualifications: a. Accepted into a Spring 2017 Study Abroad program OR be a recent alumni of an Illinois State Study Abroad Program. * If you wish to partner with another student, please submit only one application.

b. Submission of a video in which the applicant discusses the following: Questions for Students Going Abroad to Answer i. Why are you interested in becoming a Study Abroad Correspondent? ii. What do you hope to gain from participating in this program? iii. How will you influence others to study abroad by representing ISU overseas? a. Give at least two specific examples of something unique you would like to discuss in your video series. b. In your opinion, what is the most important message to convey to prospective students watching your videos?

Questions for Study Abroad Alumni to Answer iv. Why are you interested in becoming a Study Abroad Correspondent? v. What was the biggest lesson you learned from study abroad? vi. How will you influence others to study abroad? a. Give at least two specific examples of something unique you would like to discuss in your video series. b. In your opinion, what is the most important message to convey to prospective students watching your videos? The recipient of this opportunity will be based on the following: a. Quality of Video b. Content discussed in Video c. Study Abroad Program Destination o A maximum of one application from each study abroad destination will be chosen.

Students who participate in the Study Abroad Correspondent program will receive a certificate of completion.
