The following is a list of events planned so far for the 2017-2018 year at Seattle University and with the Albers School of Business & Economics. We want to inform you of these events for your own personal interest and some events are also great activity ideas to do with your mentees. Tuesday, October 17, 2017; 11am-2pm: Business and Engineering Career Fair (Campion Ballroom) A career fair for business and engineering students
Thursday, October 26, 2017; 5-6pm: New Mentor Make-Up Orientation (Pigott 416) An Orientation for new mentors who could not make it to the orientation on October 6.
Tuesday, November 7, 2017; 5:30-6:30pm: Albers Executive Speaker Series (Pigott Auditorium) Nick Hanauer, Entrepreneur, Venture Capitalist, Civic Activist, Philanthropist, Author
Tuesday, December 5, 2017; 5-6:30pm: Fall Mentor Forum (Seattle Campus, Pigott 416) A time for mentors to discuss best practices, reflect on mentoring, share ideas to address challenges and network with one another. Refreshments will be provided.
Wednesday, January 10, 2018; 5:30-6:30pm: Albers Executive Speaker Series (Pigott Auditorium) Diversity and Inclusion Panel featuring Latasha Gillespie, Diversity Programs Director at Amazon, Denise Merle, SVP of Human Resources and Information Technology at Weyerhaeuser, and Karen Wilkins-Mickey, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Alaska Airlines
Tuesday, January 30, 2018; 6-8pm: Albers Etiquette Dinner (Campion Ballroom) An opportunity for students to learn and practice dining and business etiquette; please encourage mentees to attend

Tuesday, February 6, 2018; 11am-2pm: SU Internship Fair (Campion Ballroom) Please encourage your mentees to attend to learn about internship opportunities. (over) Tuesday, February 27, 2018; 6-7:30pm: Albers Career Night (Optimism Brewery) Mentors are invited to attend this event for Albers undergrad students to help them practice networking and build their professional contacts.
Tuesday, March 13, 2018; 5-6:30pm: Winter Mentor Forum (Location: TBD) A time for mentors to discuss best practices, reflect on mentoring, share ideas to address challenges and network with one another.
Tuesday, April 17, 2018; 11am-2pm: Career & Internship Fair (Campion Ballroom) Campus-wide career fair. Please encourage your mentees to attend to learn about job and internship opportunities.

Tuesday, May 22, 2018; 4-5:30pm: Albers Volunteer Recognition Reception (Location: TBD) Annual event to thank and honor the people who volunteer their time to Albers programs such as advisory boards and the mentor program.
