THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (WAGGON WAY, ALLOA) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2007

The Clackmannanshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order.

1. This Order may be cited as "The Clackmannanshire Council (Waggon Way, Alloa) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2007” and notwithstanding the date hereof shall come into operation on the 1st March 2007.

2. The effect of this Order shall be to close the footpath:- The period from 0001 hours on Thursday 1st March 2007 until 2359 hours on Friday 31st August 2007, the section described in the Schedule hereto to enable repairs to be carried out on a section of wall.

List of Roads Section of road over which temporary footpath closure is applicable from 0001 hours on Thursday 1st March 2007 until 2359 hours on Friday 31st August 2007.

Waggon Way, alloa From its starting point at the east side of the boundary wall of the Alloa Day Unit South School, northwards for a distance of 430 metres or thereby.

Alternative routes Via Church Street, Marshill, Ring Road and return.

Or via Bank Street, Mill Street, High Street, Primrose Street and return.

STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR MAKING THE ORDER

The order is required to enable repairs to be carried out on a section of wall.

The Clackmannanshire Council has made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 19th February 2007.
