TITLE: TEST INFORMATION - CUT-OFF VALUES

PRINCIPLE: A cut-off value is the level of test results, where they are called positive for a particular drug. There may be a drug level present below the cut-off, but for legal purposes such levels are to be disregarded and the sample is called negative.

TASC, Inc. does utilize this information to monitor a client's progress. This requires that clients refrain from any drug usage, so more sensitive testing is a necessity. For this reason, TASCLabs retained the use of the lower NIDA (SAMHSA) cut-off levels as a part of our routine testing program, rather than the current SAMHSA Workplace Testing Guidelines limits.
