There may be a drug level present below the cut-off, but for legal purposes such levels are to be disregarded and the sample is called negative.

TASC, Inc. does utilize this information to monitor a client's progress. This requires that clients refrain from any drug usage, so more sensitive testing is a necessity. For this reason, TASCLabs retained the use of the lower NIDA (SAMHSA) cut-off levels as a part of our routine testing program, rather than the current SAMHSA Workplace Testing Guidelines limits.

CUT-OFF VALUES:

SCREENING TESTS TASC TEST SAMHSA OASA Labs RANGE ng/ml (Max) Alcohol (Ethanol) in mg/dL 25 500 Amphetamine / Methamphetamine 500 5,000 1.000 1,000 Barbiturates 300 3,000 None 200 Benzodiazepines 300 5,000 None 200 Cocaine (benzoylecgonine) 150 5,000 150 150 Ecstasy 500 1,000 Heroin Metabolite (6-AM) 10 500 Marijuana metabolite (THC) 50 200 50 50 Methadone 300 5,000 None 300 Opiates 300 2,000 2,000 2,000 Phencyclidines (PCP) 25 500 25 25

CONFIRMATION TASC-AZ Quest Med-Tox SAMHSA (LOD) Alcohol (Ethanol) 20 Amphetamine / Methamphetamine (ng/ml) 500 (62.5) 120 500 500 Barbiturates (ng/ml) 200 (75) 300 200 None Benzodiazepines (ng/ml) 200 (25) 80 200 None Cocaine (benzoylecgonine) (ng/ml) 150 (15) 150 150 150 Ecstasy 150 (?)
