God’s Promises for You Small Group Bible Study 9/11-07

Faithfulness1

Pro 3:3 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. Pro 3:4 So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.

Psa 31:23 Love the LORD, all you his saints! The LORD preserves the faithful but abundantly repays the one who acts in pride.

Psa 37:28 For the LORD loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

Pro 2:7 he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, Pro 2:8 guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints.

Rev 2:10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Faithfulness

Opening questions:  What is faith?

 What is faithfulness?

 Who in the Bible comes to mind when you think of faithfulness?

 What chapter in the NT is considered to be the hall of fame of faith?

Verse Review (ask same questions of each verse)  What is the promise?  Underline it.  What is required of us to?
